Himonitor, stats for your server

Himonitor is a system you can use to monitor your server parameters as well as your site status/services uptime. This is first beta of himonitor, it's creator doing updates/bugfixes hourly, please use the forum send feedback / get help

It's a more powerfull (and easyer to install) Server Monitoring that can track almost everything, from your hardware to your software stats (netowork cards traffic, hard disk devices usage, server load, firewall , cpu load, mysql stats parameters, log sizes, mail statistics, backup status, your site details) plus standard features for service monitoring.. like ping stats, mysql, pop3, smtp, ftp, http uptime.

You can also create graph to compare data, to see for example how your server load increase compare with number of users online in your forum, or your hard disk IO performance during your night logrotation or database backup operations, you can also discover hacking attempt monitoring your TCP opened connection and mysql failed connection attempt, and get contacted BEFORE than your server goes down, you can get an email or SMS when your hard disk is almost full, your bandwidth usage is too high or everything else you want to keep controlled, you can have hundreds of these "alerts". also data are saved on our server, so if your server is down you can see your server parameters of some seconds BEFORE the crash happened, and this is a big help when you have to put up it again.

Features of Himonitor

Monitoring Services
  • Once registered, create services to monitor your servers uptime, server services (such mysql, pop3, ping timings..), or xml data.
  • You can monitor up to 10 servers and 3 xml services with up to 90 parameters each.
  • Each services monitoring have his timezone sync with server-time, check frequency, authentication features (.htaccess authentication), passed variables (POST or GET method selectable), and more..

Graphs Management
  • You can create as many graphs you want, to show service statusĀ  or xml variables or also to compare different servers data.
  • Choose data to put in graph during graph creation.

Data Visualization
  • An example of time-range selection, you can focus only on a small time-range the graph (in this example 1 hour) and see min, max, avg, total value, in this case you can see how many BW has been transferred in 1 selected hour. But you could also monitor number of queries in 1 hour, or disk write bytes, ....
  • You can have multiple sheet with inside multiple graph, click on "add new sheet" , give it a name and then choose graph to fill it.

Alerts System

  • You could also monitor alerts on graph, here an example with a list of alerts sent for this value (tcp open sockets).
  • You can set up to 50 alerts on your servers or xml parameters.
  • You can add alerts on services, or on single xml values.
  • When you create an alert you can choose an optional lower limit and optional upper limitĀ  when value cross these limits the alert will become active.
  • There are settings like alert delay (so the system could wait for example 10 minutes of continuous alert before sending you the message) and alert repeat delay (you could receive 1 alert everytime error occurr.. or just 1 alert /day,hour,....).
  • Then there are 3 type of alert message you could receive, SMS , EMAIL or nothing (with nothing the alert will be only noticed on himonitor graph and himonitor alerts page.
  • On alerts/contact page you have history of messages sent archived by day or by services, your email configured for alerts and sms settings.
